Eurogamer calls the Push Square has given the game a 3/10 review score, calling it “lacking in every department possible, from shallow and repetitive gameplay through to abysmal visuals that belong on the previous generation of consoles.”
Finally, Game Reactor has also given Crossroads a score of 3/10. In its review, the publication calls Fast & Furious “the worst game of the year so far” and “unimaginative, sloppy, pointless, ugly and lacking in variety as some of the worst licensed games ever made.”
It’s understood that publisher Bandai Namco did not distribute media review copies for Crossroads.
In the UK, Fast & Furious Crossroads debuted at number 17 in the chart. Although its performance seems disappointing, this data only tracks physical game sales and does not include digital.
Billed as a “team-based, vehicular-heist action game set in the adrenaline-fueled Fast & Furious universe”, Crossroads was developed by Project Cars maker Slightly Mad Studios, which Codemasters acquired in 2019.
