After what feels like an eternity of writing about the supposed Mass Effect Trilogy Remaster, it’s finally, finally, finally been made official. BioWare has announced that Mass Effect Legendary Edition will launch in Spring 2021 for PS4. It’ll include all three Mass Effect games from the original trilogy, complete with all of their single-player DLC packs.
The remasters will boast 4K resolution support, overhauled assets, enhanced visual effects, and better frame rates. BioWare says that it’s also targeting specific improvements for PS5 through backwards compatibility. We’ll be getting more information next year.
