Animal Crossing: New Horizons may well have snapped up all of the headlines when Nintendo’s recent financial earnings were released, but both Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition and Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics have also done rather well for themselves in their short time on sale.
Between their respective launches and the end of June 2020, both titles managed to surpass the one million sales mark. Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition, which launched at the end of May, managed to generate 1.32 million sales in just over a month; Clubhouse Games achieved 1.03 million sales between 5th and 30th June.
They were two of just seven Nintendo titles which managed to sell one million units in the last quarter (April – June 2020). The other games on that list are Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Ring Fit Adventure, and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
